Movie Synopsis:

The Wicker Man is a horror mystery thriller revolving around a police officer Edward Malus who is haunted by the memory of a young girl he was unable to save in a car accident. He responds to a plea from his ex fiancée who has returned to her homeland (the matriarchal Summerisle) to help find her missing daughter. The full extent of the invitation unravels with the story, arriving at a dramatic conclusion.

Interesting Facts:
The idea for The Wickerman remake was generated by Nicolas Cage’s friend, the late Johnny Ramone, who was a fan of horror movies and introduced Nic to the original.
